Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This black arch full length mirror pairs a graceful arched top with a straight base, creating a silhouette that feels architectural yet understated. A steady performer in our full length mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for a versatile piece that bridges indoor and outdoor spaces.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel, finished in a matte black coating that sits quietly against almost any backdrop. At roughly 2.5 cm wide, the frame is deliberately slim, giving the mirror a modern, pared-back profile rather than competing with the reflective surface for attention. Up close, the finish has a smooth, satin-like texture — not high-gloss, and not overly industrial. The glass itself is clear and unbevelled, delivering a crisp, undistorted reflection across its full surface. A plastic sheet backing board seals the rear, and the entire piece weighs a manageable 10 kg. Because the materials are rated for outdoor use, the frame resists moisture and weathering — so you can confidently position it in a sheltered garden area without worrying about rust or deterioration.
Size & Placement
At 160 cm tall and 53 cm wide, this is a genuinely full-length mirror — tall enough for a head-to-toe check, yet narrow enough to slot into spaces where a wider arch mirror would overwhelm the wall. In our experience, a mirror of these proportions works particularly well on a slim hallway wall, between windows in a bedroom, or mounted on a rendered garden wall to reflect greenery and create the illusion of extra depth. The flat bottom edge means you can also lean it against a skirting board at a gentle angle for a more casual, floor-standing look — a style we see chosen most often for bedrooms and dressing areas. If you’re using it outdoors, position it on a south- or west-facing wall to catch the most light, ideally sheltered under an overhang or covered porch. Its depth of just 3.3 cm keeps it close to the wall, so it won’t protrude awkwardly even in narrow spaces.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes fitted with two keyhole fixings on the back, so hanging is straightforward — simply drive two screws into the wall at the correct spacing and hook the mirror over them. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate to your wall type: standard plastic plugs and screws for masonry, or specialist plasterboard fixings if you’re mounting on a stud wall. At 10 kg, this is a comfortable two-person lift, though one person can manage positioning if needed. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror; the keyhole system is designed for a secure, flush fit against the wall. If you’re fixing it to an outdoor wall, stainless-steel or zinc-plated screws will give you the best long-term hold.
