Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This black arch full length wall mirror pairs a generous 160 × 80 cm reflective surface with a pared-back steel frame, creating a design that feels contemporary without trying too hard. A steady performer in our full length mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for a versatile indoor-outdoor piece that complements both modern interiors and garden walls.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel finished in a smooth matte black coating — up close you can see a fine, lightly textured powder-coat that resists the elements far better than a painted wooden frame would. At roughly 2.5 cm wide, the profile is deliberately slim: enough to define the arch shape crisply, but not so broad that it competes with the mirror glass. The arch top curves into straight, parallel sides and a flat base, giving the silhouette a classic doorway proportion that draws the eye upward. Behind the glass sits a plastic sheet backing board — a practical choice for outdoor-rated mirrors, since it seals the silvering against moisture. The glass itself is clear and unbevelled, delivering clean reflections with no decorative edge treatment to distract from the minimal frame.
Size & Placement
At 160 cm tall and 80 cm wide, this is a genuine full length black wall mirror — tall enough for a head-to-knee check, and broad enough to reflect a meaningful slice of the room or garden behind you. Indoors, we often suggest this for hallways or living rooms where a large full length mirror on the wall opens up a narrow space. The flat base means you can lean it against a wall as a floor mirror if you prefer not to drill — prop it in a bedroom corner or at the end of a landing for an effortless, modern look. Outdoors, it comes into its own mounted on a brick or rendered garden wall: the arch shape echoes a doorway or window, creating the illusion of depth and framing whatever planting sits in front of it. At only 3.3 cm deep, it sits close to the wall and won’t protrude awkwardly.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror has two keyhole fixings on the back — one on each side — so you simply hook it onto a pair of screws set at the correct spacing. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; use fixings appropriate for your wall type (masonry anchors for brick, heavy-duty plasterboard fixings for stud walls). At 12 kg it is manageable, but we recommend a second pair of hands to hold the mirror in position while you mark and check the screw points — arch mirrors need to sit level, and the curved top makes any tilt immediately visible. If mounting outdoors, ensure the screws and plugs you choose are rust-resistant.
